The Role
We are seeking experienced Principal Cyber Security Advisors to support high-profile government and national security programs. This is a senior advisory role focused on cyber security governance, risk management, system accreditation, and secure solution design within complex ICT environments. Working closely with technical teams, architects, engineers and stakeholders, you will provide trusted security advice and help ensure critical systems meet security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cyber security risk assessments and security reviews across complex ICT environments.
- Provide expert advice on security architecture, secure-by-design principles and cyber risk mitigation.
- Review solution designs against government security frameworks and best-practice controls.
- Support system authorisation and accreditation activities, including security documentation and compliance assessments.
- Contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of security policies, standards and frameworks.
About You
- Ability to reinstate AGSVA TSPV Security Clearance.
- Extensive experience in cyber security, security architecture, risk management or information assurance roles.
- Strong understanding of cyber security governance, accreditation processes and security risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience assessing complex ICT systems and providing actionable security recommendations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and technical reporting skills.
