Barista – Unilab Specialty Roasters
Location: Uni Hill, Bundoora VICPosition: Casual Hours: 3–4 days per week
Unilab Specialty Roasters is a busy, family-run café in Uni Hill, Bundoora. We roast our own coffee and take pride in serving consistently great coffee while creating a welcoming experience for our regulars and local community.
We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our team.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for:
● Preparing consistently high-quality espresso-based coffee
● Dialling in the grinder and maintaining coffee quality throughout the day
● Managing the coffee station efficiently during busy periods
● Providing friendly and professional customer service
● Keeping the coffee station clean, organised and well stocked
● Working closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams
● Opening and/or closing the coffee station when required
What we’re looking for
● Minimum 1–2 years of barista experience in a busy café
● Strong espresso extraction and milk-texturing skills
● Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality
● Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
● Good communication and customer-service skills
● Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation
● Weekend availability is highly regarded
