Sixes & Sevens is looking for an experienced and confident Front of House Supervisor to join our management team.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced venue, enjoys leading from the floor and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Friday and Saturday night availability is essential, with additional shifts available based on your preferred hours and availability.
About the Role
As a Front of House Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, supporting management while leading our hosts and floor team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the host desk and ensuring a seamless guest arrival experience.
- Leading and mentoring our host team.
- Supervising floor staff and maintaining high service standards.
- Assisting with venue setup and pack down.
- Coordinating out of stock items and communicating updates between the kitchen and front of house teams.
- Assisting with staff training, onboarding and recruitment.
- Supporting venue management with daily operations and service execution.
- Building relationships with our regular guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the venue.
- Ensuring the venue remains organised, well-presented and running efficiently throughout service.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
- Enjoys the energy of a busy Friday or Saturday night service but can easily adapt to quieter and more relaxed shifts.
- Is a natural leader who leads by example and earns the respect of their team.
- Loves hospitality and genuinely enjoys getting to know regular guests and building customer relationships.
- Is emotionally mature, level headed and professional in their approach to managing people.
- Can navigate workplace challenges without getting caught up in gossip, cliques or staff drama.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Remains calm under pressure and can confidently make decisions when needed.
- Takes pride in creating a positive team culture and maintaining high standards.
- Is available to work Friday and Saturday nights.

Pay: $35.15 – $49.21 per hour
