Refreshingly local, we’re after a Hospitality Manager standout who can assist the Food & Beverage Manager with overseeing the entire operational and staffing requirements for our food and beverage services and offerings across our different outlets.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Overall accountability for the people, product, service, and upkeep of department - Organise and control daily operations within the hospitality, retail, and service establishment
- Continually analyse and assess performance of the outlets against its stated objectives; formulate strategies and enact remedies as appropriate.
- Work in conjunction with F&B, Sales, and marketing teams to formulate and strategies business and sales ideas – Explore opportunities through research and early activations.
- Assist F&B Manager with staff recruitment, training and rostering of front-of-house staff in order to ensure guest expectations are exceeded at all times,
- Monitor production from the bar & kitchen to ensure high beverage & food standards for all guests - Plan and manage stock levels, product ranges, and service standards.
- Oversee financials across wage, beverage, maintenance and expenses in line with budget and targets. Maximise bottom line profit.
- Manage all points of the client experience onsite including greeting on arrival, all food and beverage service and farewell on departure. Represent Rydges “too easy” service ethos in every interaction.
- Implement efficient SOP’s, opening and closing procedures, various checklists required for service, ensuring standards are maintained at all times. Maintain formal training plans, and conduct “on the job” training sessions for Front of House staff & your leadership team
- Maintain a daily, weekly and monthly inspection check for all areas. Ensure proper follow up to attain maximum cleanliness and security. Record and communicate any maintenance and cleanliness issues – Commence monthly walkthrough with key stakeholders.
- Manage internal communications, attend departmental meetings and ensure clear communication, coordination & direction for all departments.
- Maintain a strong teamwork ethic including a willingness to assist other departments as required.
- Ensure customer feedback is passed back to relevant departments for on the day or post event action to help improve our offerings and services.
- Keep ahead of market trends & conditions to establish and develop initiatives enhancing guest experience & maintaining competitive edge.
- Maintain a favourable working relationship with peers to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
- Think outside the box to ensure we provide exciting and fun experiences.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role as Hospitality Manager or Assistant Hospitality Manager within hotels or similar hospitality services company.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality, retail, or service industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with staff management, financial oversight, and operational planning.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
