Experienced Automotive Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic

About Us
Independent European Service Centre is a growing independent automotive workshop based in Canning Vale, servicing all makes and models with a strong focus on German and European vehicles.
Our technicians regularly work on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda and Porsche, alongside a variety of other vehicle brands. We pride ourselves on accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship and honest customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out engine, suspension, steering, brake and cooling system repairs
- Perform vehicle inspections and prepare repair recommendations
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and workshop safety
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working on German and European vehicles is strongly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using professional diagnostic scan tools
- Experience with BMW ISTA, Mercedes-Benz Xentry, VAG ODIS, Autel or similar diagnostic platforms is highly regarded
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Positive attitude, reliability and attention to detail
- Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. Employer sponsorship is not available for this position.
