Experienced Early Childhood Educators and Educational Leader
We are seeking passionate, reliable and creative Early Childhood Educators to join our growing and proudly family owned and operated childcare centre.
We welcome applications from educators who hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as experienced Room Leaders and Educational Leaders who are ready to take on additional responsibility and help guide the service’s educational program.

They are open to feedback and professional growth, able to take initiative, manage their responsibilities effectively and actively contribute ideas to the service. Educational Leader Responsibilities
The Educational Leader will play an important role in inspiring educators, strengthening curriculum planning and supporting high-quality educational practices across the service.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop, review and guide curriculum plans and educational programs.
- Support educators with observations, learning stories, documentation and critical reflection.
- Ensure programs reflect children’s interests, developmental needs, family input and cultural backgrounds.
- Mentor, coach and motivate educators to improve their confidence and professional practice.
- Provide clear direction to staff and support the smooth daily operation of the room.
- Lead team discussions, programming meetings and reflective practice.
- Assist with centre events, celebrations, incursions, excursions and family engagement activities.
- Create engaging, inclusive and age-appropriate learning environments.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of educational documentation.
- Support compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and service policies.
- Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and assessment and rating preparation.
- Encourage teamwork, accountability, creativity and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with management to identify staff training and professional development needs.
The Educational Leader should be approachable, organised and confident in guiding others while remaining actively involved in the daily program and care of children.
Certificate III and Diploma Educator Responsibilities
Our educators are an essential part of creating a positive and welcoming environment for children and families.
Educators will be expected to:
- Provide high-quality care and supervision throughout the day.
- Build warm, respectful and secure relationships with children.
- Support children’s emotional, social, physical and cognitive development.
- Assist in planning and implementing meaningful play-based learning experiences.
- Complete observations, learning stories and other educational documentation.
- Contribute ideas to weekly and monthly curriculum plans.
- Set up creative and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Follow children’s interests and extend their learning through intentional teaching.
- Support children with routines, including meals, rest, toileting and transitions.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised room.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with families.
- Share meaningful updates about children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with Room Leaders, the Educational Leader and other educators.
- Participate in staff meetings, training and reflective discussions.
- Follow all service policies, procedures and child safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Assist with centre events, celebrations, incursions and community activities.
- Support inclusion and ensure every child has the opportunity to participate.
- Demonstrate initiative and assist other team members when required.
Diploma-qualified educators may also be asked to provide additional support in room leadership, programming, mentoring junior educators and overseeing daily routines.
Pay: $28.81 – $38.25 per hour
