Are you a technically strong accountant who thrives on accuracy, insight and improving how things are done? This is a pivotal Senior Financial Accountant role, partnering closely with the Group Accounting Manager and senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality reporting, robust controls and meaningful financial insight across the business.
This role goes beyond month-end. You’ll influence decision-making, strengthen compliance, improve processes and bring clarity to complex financial data, all while being part of a collaborative, high-performing finance team.

What you’ll be doing
· Leading month-end close, GL, reconciliations, accruals and journals
· Preparing and analyse P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports
· Delivering revenue accrual analysis and insightful financial risk analysis
· Managing statutory compliance incl. BAS, ABS, FBT, WorkCover and PLSL
· Building cashflow forecasts and support treasury and cash management
· Partnering with stakeholders, strengthen controls and drive process improvement
What you’ll bring
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior role
· Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
· Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
· Ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines with ease
· Desirable: Experience with Technology One and/or Power BI
Requirements
· Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field
· CPA or CA qualification
· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check – or willingness to obtain
· Working with Children Check – or willingness to obtain
· Current driver licence
· Experience or interest in the mental health or disability sector is highly regarded
