About the role
Our firm has experienced considerable growth in the past 12 months and we are now seeking to expand the generalist team.
You will be given autonomy to work on your own files in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be given the opportunity to appear and instruct in both Federal and State Courts. You will also have direct client contact and have conduct of your own files.
Experience across other areas of law, including commercial law (such as the sale and purchase of businesses and retail leasing), estate law (including probate applications and letters of administration), civil litigation, and property law, will be highly regarded.
You will also be given an opportunity to work in other practice areas to further develop your skill set.
You will be predominantly in the Glenroy office and occasionally sent to our city office.
We also offer that you can work one day a week from home which is at your sole discretion.

Skills and experience
- Current Australian legal practising certificate;
- Experience in commercial, litigation, property, wills and estates law will give you a favourable advantage over other applicants;
- Experience using LEAP is an advantage.
- An ability to work well in a team environment but also autonomously;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Well-organised with exceptional file management skills.
