Movement Nation is one of Sydney's fastest-growing street dance studios, and we're hiring the person who runs our Parramatta front desk on weeknights. We offer dance classes to people of all ages and all levels. Our classes run Monday - Friday evenings with working hours ranging between 5:30-10PM. Expected hours: 10–20 per week
Who we're looking for
You're the kind of person who remembers names. You start conversations easily, you're warm without being fake, and you genuinely enjoy being around people. Our students should look forward to seeing you at the desk.
You'll also need to stay organised when it's busy, check-ins, an enquiry, a parent with a question and a class about to start, all at once.
You must be available weeknights. Classes run Monday to Friday between 5:30pm and 10:00pm. This suits someone studying, working days, or building something of their own during daylight hours.
No dance experience required. No admin experience required. An interest in dance, music or street culture will make this a lot more fun for you.
What we'll train you in
This is the part that matters. You'll finish this job with a portfolio and a genuine skill set:
- Filming — operating professional camera equipment, framing movement, shooting in low light
- Editing — CapCut and Final Cut Pro, cutting to music, short-form pacing
- Social media that performs — not just posting, but understanding hooks, retention and what makes a dance clip travel
- Customer service and sales — turning an enquiry into a trial booking, handling difficult conversations
- Studio operations — booking systems, rostering support, back-end admin in Canva, Dropbox and Google Workspace

Junior rates apply for applicants under 21 in accordance with the relevant modern award.
