HVAC Sales & Technical Manager
Lead a high‑performing HVAC sales team while driving structured processes, project oversight and strong consultant engagement across SA & NT. This role blends
technical expertise,
sales strategy and
team leadership with a clear pathway into future senior management.
The Role
You’ll guide a small team across internal sales, engineering support and external account management. Your day will include:
- Overseeing tendering, quoting, pricing and negotiations
- Reviewing medium–large projects from design through delivery
- Supporting internal sales with quoting, technical submissions and order processing
- Joint customer visits with the external account manager, including Tier‑1 clients
- Building consultant and design‑engineer relationships to influence specifications
- Developing structured processes, shared calendars and reporting frameworks
- Tracking project pipelines and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities
- Supporting growth in AHUs, energy recovery units, VSDs, industrial fans and drives
About You
You’re a
firm‑but‑fair leader with strong emotional intelligence and a calm, solutions‑focused approach. You bring:
- HVAC industry background — subcontracting, small business, or senior technician level
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience (Electrical preferred)
- Strong technical capability and quoting/project management experience
- Ability to manage existing relationships professionally and build trust quickly
- Balanced sales + operational mindset
