Landscape Gardener
We are looking for an enthusiastic landscape gardener to join our team
Role duties include but not limited to:
- All aspects of garden maintenance
- All aspects of landscaping and softscaping
- Pruning trees and hedges, and installing plant support and protection devices
- Spraying and dusting plants and trees to control insects and disease, and felling diseased trees
- Preparing lawn areas by spreading top soil and planting grass, and by laying instant turf
- Maintaining planted and grassed areas by weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering and mowing
- Propagating and planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs
- Lopping limbs off trees and shaping branches using chain and handsaws
- Examining trees to assess their condition and determine treatment
- Preparing and maintaining seedbeds and growing sites
- Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures
- Constructing gravel and paved areas, walls, fences,, ponds, barbecues and garden furniture
- Preparing plans and drawings, selecting materials and plants, and scheduling landscape construction
Landscape Gardener with experience needed with potential for team leader for right candidate - need clean driving license record, ability to drive manual van and have experience with garden landscaping and maintenance - previous job references required.
Good working and pay condition but must have experience and driver license
Successful applicant should be reliable, hard working shows good initiative with a good attitude and communication skills.
You need to have proven experience in the role, be able to operate all gardening tools, have plants and horticulture knowledge and should be able to get to Upper North Shore and Lower North Shore
