We're currently seeking an experienced and reliable Steel Fixer to join our team across Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel to specification.
- Assemble reinforcement cages for precast concrete panels.
- Position and secure steel reinforcement within panel moulds.
- Operate steel fixing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work closely with production and yard teams to meet manufacturing deadlines.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Steel Fixer, Reinforcing Steel Worker, or in a similar role.
- Ability to read and understand construction or engineering drawings.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- White Card
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
