We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to support a participant in their home and community. The ideal candidate will be patient, respectful, and committed to providing care that promotes independence, dignity, and well being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including hygiene and grooming
- Support with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with community access such as appointments, shopping, and social activities
- Follow the participant’s care plan and provide consistent, respectful support
- Maintain clear communication with the participant and care team
About You:
- Experience in disability support or a similar role
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and respectfully in a participant’s home
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Current police check
