We are seeking an appropriately experienced Evidence and Performance Analyst to provide collection, management and reporting of clinical effectiveness measures within Ambulance Victoria (AV) for our Research and Evaluation Department.
This is a full time, ongoing position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn (soon to be Doncaster) in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Evidence and Evaluation Analyst, this role will work with diverse sources of clinical and operational data, including clinical quality registries, to develop actionable evidence of clinical performance and effectiveness across AV. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Work collaboratively to support the development and maintenance of data analytics systems in the Centre for Research and Evaluation

Undertake analysis and provide analytical insight and support for projects within the Quality & Clinical Innovation Division and wider AV

Prepare and disseminate and develop data reports to assist in the monitoring of all relevant aspects of AV performance

Support the delivery of self-service and interactive data analytics, delivering detailed analysis and insights to support business decision making

Provide analytical support for strategic and research projects, both internally and externally to AV, including participating in project teams, committees, working groups and other forums as required
About you
The ideal candidate will have completion of a tertiary qualification at the postgraduate level in a relevant discipline (Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology) with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Other requirements include but not limited to:

Strong experience in data analytics and reporting, preferably in the patient care or clinical setting

Experience in the health sector, the emergency services or the university sector

Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes and cloud-based reporting products

In depth knowledge of relevant software applications, databases, statistical packages and business intelligence tools (i.e., Oracle, SharePoint, Stata, SPSS, SQL, Power BI)

Well-developed quantitative data analysis skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate information and data visualisations to achieve strategic insights

Well-developed interpersonal skills to enable clear interaction on both technical and non-technical subjects with a broad range of stakeholders
