About the Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital is proud of its healthcare service excellence and leadership in clinical care, as part of a network of hospitals and healthcare services within Sydney Local Health District.
The hospital is a leading tertiary-referral teaching facility. Significant redevelopment was recently completed, including a new cancer centre and satellite pharmacy within a new clinical services building. It supports a vibrant and expanding cancer service with strong links to local and international research networks, offering staff the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to advancing cancer care through innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence in a state-of-the-art facility.
The Cancer Care Pharmacy is a fast-paced production unit run by an energetic and friendly team of enthusiastic clinical pharmacists and technicians who are passionate about patient care. The Cancer Care Pharmacy exists under the Pharmacy Department alongside Investigational Drugs (Clinical Trials).
The Senior Cancer Care Pharmacist is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Cancer Care Unit and works in close collaboration with the Senior Pharmacists for Clinical Trials and other members of the Pharmacy Management Team.

Ideal Candidate
- Currently registered as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and able to practice independently.
- Demonstrated high level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist: this includes advanced level knowledge of therapeutics in the areas of oncology and haematology, relevant legislation and ability to apply these skills in practice.
- Experience in aseptic manufacture with demonstrated understanding of current national standards and regulations for compounding injectable products.
