About Skins Barber Shop:
We are customer-focused Hairdresser and Barber Salon committed to delivering modern and classic haircutting, styling, and client care services.
We are currently seeking experience and motivated Hairdresser to join the master hairdresser and barbers to maintain our continued success in the business.
Key responsibilities are;
- Managing the daily operations of the salon to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervising, motivating, and supporting barbers and salon staff to achieve performance and customer service objectives.
- Managing staff rosters, attendance, leave arrangements, and workflow allocation.
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and client satisfaction are maintained at all times.
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback, and resolving any complaints professionally.
- Monitoring salon performance, sales, and productivity and implementing strategies to improve business outcomes.
- Managing stock levels, ordering products and supplies, and maintaining inventory records.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, hygiene standards, and relevant industry regulations.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Promoting salon services and products and implementing marketing and customer retention initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate records of appointments, staff performance, sales, and salon operations.
- Monitoring and controlling operational costs while ensuring service quality standards are maintained.
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a salon, beauty salon, or related customer service management environment.
- Certificate III in Hairdressing, Certificate III in Beauty Services, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with appointment scheduling, staff supervision, and salon operations will be highly regarded.
