The Opportunity:
Evaluate Health is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Exercise Physiologist to join our growing team of specialists on a sessional basis. This role provides a chance to work with a dynamic and agile organisation dedicated to high-quality occupational health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Occupational Health Assessments and Reporting: Conduct detailed patient assessments, including histories, exams, and diagnostic evaluations, to determine needs and develop tailored treatment plans for functional improvement. Provide clear, compliant reports for medicolegal purposes, aligned with Australian regulatory standards.
- Independent Advice: Perform employment-related medical assessments, providing independent, evidence-based medical advice and opinions.
- Treatment and Care Coordination: Suggest exercise plans that address physical, psychological, and social recovery needs, working closely with allied health professionals. Prescribe appropriate exercises and assistive devices as required.
- Collaborative Case Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare and legal professionals, to deliver expert case management.
- Travel: Travel to other clinic locations to assist with appointments as needed.
Requirements:
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) status through ESSA.
- Current medical indemnity insurance.
- Exceptional professional writing and legal communication skills.
