About the Role
As the Work Coordinator Senior, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating maintenance and capital work execution activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with site schedules and asset management strategies. Working closely with Schedulers, Reliability Engineers, Planners and operational teams, you will help drive schedule compliance, optimise resource utilisation and support the successful delivery of maintenance and capital programs.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating breakdowns, shutdowns and planned work activities while providing guidance and support to execution teams. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, asset reliability outcomes and best-practice work management processes, helping to maximise the Distilleries performance and productivity.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance and capital work execution activities to ensure safe, efficient and schedule-compliant delivery.
- Work closely with Schedulers, Reliability Engineers and Planners to develop and execute achievable work programs.
- Manage resources for maintenance, shutdown and breakdown activities while supporting operational priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reliability and work management processes.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to work execution teams, including acting in the absence of the Work Execution Superintendent.

Essential
- Engineering or Trade qualification with a QLD Electrical fitter/mechanic licence.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance, reliability, shutdowns or work execution within a heavy industrial environment.
- Strong planning, scheduling and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven leadership capability with experience coaching, mentoring and supporting teams.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health, safety and risk management practices.

- EEHA qualifications
- Electrical / instrumentation maintenance experience
- Previous experience in the sugar, manufacturing, mining, energy or process industries.
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Project or similar maintenance and project management systems.
- Supervisory or leadership qualifications, or equivalent practical leadership experience.
