Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Combination Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and products to and from construction sites in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive company trucks to transport materials and products to designated locations.
- Unload frames and trusses using appropriate equipment such as hiab cranes.
- Plan efficient routes to minimise delivery time and fuel consumption, while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Heavy Combination (HC) or higher class driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can be based out of Sydney NSW
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Moss Vale NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
