The Brisbane team is expanding and seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors/Cost Engineers to join our growing Infrastructure team. The opportunity Joining our Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management and advisory services across a range of infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for providing commercial delivery.
- Preparing project feasibility studies, cost plans, estimates, and business case assessments
- Providing value engineering solutions to optimise project outcomes and maximise value
- Undertaking risk identification, analysis, and management strategies
- Advising on construction methodologies, project delivery strategies, and cost efficiencies
- Supporting contract negotiations and procurement activities
- Developing and implementing national and international procurement strategies
- Managing cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Undertaking tender analysis, bid evaluations, and contract reviews
- Monitoring construction progress, project costs, variations, and commercial performance
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Providing expert commercial advice to support successful project delivery
- Professional qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, construction economics, or property-related fields
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in estimating for Infrastructure construction projects
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project team
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
- Full rights to work in Australia
- RICS or AIQS Membership
- RPEQ (desirable)
- Full training provided in all aspects of internal processes, procedures, and software
