Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. Working alongside another People & Culture Business Partner and reporting to the People & Culture Leader, you will partner with managers and leaders across a dedicated business remit to bring our people strategy to life, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and support employees throughout every stage of their journey.
The role is split between 2 days working from Milton Hub, 2 days working from home and 1 day at another MS Queensland location (SE Queensland) per week. With these flexible arrangements and a culture built on trust and respect, you'll have the opportunity to do meaningful work while maintaining balance in what matters most.

Although everyday will be different and full of variety, you ultimately will:
- Provide expert HR support – Build trusted relationships with leaders, offering business-focused HR solutions that empower teams and drive success.
- Lead with a coaching approach – Guide managers in effective, consistent people management, helping them confidently navigate HR responsibilities.
- Champion employee relations – Be the key contact for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters, ensuring fair and supportive workplace practices.
- Drive workplace culture & engagement – Shape initiatives that enhance employee experience, promote inclusion, and align with organisational goals.
- Support organisational capability & learning – Help design impactful learning and development programs, mentorship frameworks, and diversity strategies.
- Improve HR strategies & processes – Contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring policies, processes, and tools support a thriving work environment.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and well-structured People & Culture team, with dedicated specialists across Health, Safety and Workplace Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications, HRIS system/ workforce support and Payroll. With these areas supported by subject matter experts, this role will focus on the key responsibilities outlined above, while also contributing to team projects and broader initiatives as required.
Your Winning Qualities:

HR Expertise – Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or equivalent experience) with 2+ years as a HR Advisor, Generalist or Business Partner in a dynamic, service-driven environment.

Industry Knowledge – Experience in health, disability, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable, along with strong understanding of industrial relations legislation.

Collaborative & Self-Driven – Ability to work independently while fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders to support key HR initiatives.

Culture & Engagement – A hands-on approach with creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to improving employee relationships and workplace harmony.

Communication & Relationships – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to consult, influence, and engage effectively at all levels.

Tech-Savvy & Resourceful – Proficiency in HRIS, learning management systems, and reporting tools to drive efficiency and strategic outcomes.
