We're looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our busy workshop in Orange, NSW. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll play an important role in supporting the refurbishment of industry-leading mining equipment while developing valuable skills within a global organisation.

What you'll be doing
- Support workshop operations through the refurbishment of heavy equipment components.
- Receive, inspect and dispatch goods efficiently and accurately.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to support workshop operations.
- Prepare, spray paint and wrap components for storage and transport.
- Safely operate forklifts and other workshop equipment.
- Complete daily reporting and workshop documentation.
- Assist technicians and supervisors with day-to-day workshop activities.
- Contribute to a clean, organised and safety-focused workplace while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You'll be a reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is eager to learn.
You'll also have:
- Previous experience in a workshop, Trade Assistant or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a practical approach to problem solving.
- A current manual driver's licence.
- A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
- The ability to safely perform manual handling tasks (up to 40kg).
- Basic computer skills, including tablets, email and electronic reporting.
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and police clearance.
