Are you a Health, Safety and Wellbeing professional ready to make a genuine impact at a national level? We are looking for an experienced Manager to play a pivotal role in fostering a proactive health and safety culture across the firm.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Wellbeing and People Experience, this role offers the opportunity to shape the firm's approach to health, safety and wellbeing at a strategic level.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead across a broad and rewarding remit. You will:

Design and deliver health, safety and wellbeing programs that support our people to bring their best.

Monitor changes in WHS laws and regulations, advising the business on what they mean and how to respond.

Continuous improvement of the firms WHS policies, procedures and practices to ensure they are practical, up to date and meet legal requirements across all jurisdictions.

Identify and manage psychosocial hazards and risks, developing prevention strategies for emerging challenges.

Lead Injury management and return to work programs, collaborating with employees, leaders and external providers to ensure the best outcomes.

Analyse WHS trends and insights to shape strategy and share meaningful insights with leaders and teams.

Manage relationships with a range of external health providers, insurers and brokers.
About you
We are looking for a proactive, solution focussed professional with a genuine commitment to supporting others.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice across Australia with experience applying these in a practical and business focussed way.

Proven experience leading and delivering organisation wide projects and programs aligned to business priorities.

Strong experience in identifying, assessing and managing psychosocial risks in the workplace.

Experience in ergonomics, rehabilitation, return-to-work and claims management, ideally gained in a professional services organisation.

Strong working knowledge of WHS management systems and the ability to translate complex data into clear practical insights for leaders.

Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.

Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
