We have an opportunity for a Casual
Reservations Agent to join the team to support all Hunter St Hospitality venues with guest enquiries.
As a leading Australian hospitality group operating over 40 venues nationally including Rockpool Bar & Grill, Saké Restaurant & Bar, Spice Temple and other iconic brands, our Reservations Team plays a critical role in shaping the guest experience before a guest even walks through the door.
This is not a transactional booking role. It is an opportunity to represent some of Australia’s most recognised hospitality brands and ensure every guest interaction reflects the standard of our venues.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Reporting to the Head of Reservations and based at our Head Office in The Rocks, you will:
- Manage end-to-end restaurant bookings across high-volume brands
- Deliver confident, warm, and polished guest communication via phone and email
- Build and maintain detailed guest profiles within SevenRooms
- Coordinate group bookings and prepare event orders in partnership with venue teams
- Identify upselling opportunities and promote programming and special events
- Partner closely with Operations to ensure a seamless pre-arrival journey
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Has previous experience in a reservations role within restaurants, events or hotels
- Is highly confident and articulate on the phone, with exceptional verbal communication skills
- Understands that every guest interaction contributes to brand reputation
- Has meticulous attention to detail and strong administrative discipline
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple brands and priorities
- Has experience with booking systems (Seven Rooms highly regarded)
