St Andrews Hotel Fitzroy is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Casual Front of House All-Rounder to join our team.
Located in the heart of Fitzroy, St Andrews Hotel is a vibrant, award-winning pub, bistro and function venue known for exceptional food, quality drinks, warm hospitality and memorable events. We welcome locals, visitors and private event guests throughout the week, offering everything from casual dining and drinks in our bistro and bar to weddings, corporate functions and celebrations in our beautiful Conservatory and dining room.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining a high standard of service, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for hospitality.
About the role
We are seeking a hospitality all-rounder who is confident working across different areas of our venue, including:
- Bar service
- Table service and guest interactions
- Supporting lunch and dinner service
- Working collaboratively with our kitchen, bar and events teams
- Assisting with our cocktail and seated events where required
This is a casual position with regular shifts available, minimum 20 hours a week. We offer a flexible roster, with the majority of available shifts being evening and weekend work.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous hospitality/front of house experience
- A friendly and positive attitude with a genuine passion for looking after guests
- The ability to work confidently in a busy service environment while maintaining a warm and welcoming approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- The ability to take direction, show initiative and maintain high service standards
- Availability to work weeknights and weekends
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
