Clifton Hill Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant / Front Office Coordinator to join our friendly team in a full-time or part-time dual role.
For more than 30 years, we've proudly cared for our community while building a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Our practice operates Monday to Friday only, giving you your weekends free. Full-time or part-time opportunities are available, with typical hours of 7:30am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish on Fridays (7:30am-3:00pm). Exact days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Following a recent renovation and expansion, you'll enjoy working in a modern practice equipped with OPG/CBCT imaging, digital scanning technology and contemporary digital systems, while gaining exposure to a wide range of general, cosmetic, implant and surgical dentistry.
About the Role This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, combining chairside assisting with front office responsibilities while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assisting across general, cosmetic, implant and surgical dentistry
- Infection control, sterilisation and surgery preparation
- Welcoming patients and managing front office enquiries
- Coordinating appointments, recalls and patient communication
- Supporting the clinical team to ensure the practice runs smoothly
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
What You Bring
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred)
- Previous experience in a dental front office or reception role will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Confidence using dental software and learning new technology
- A proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership of your role
- A genuine commitment to building long-term patient relationships and delivering exceptional patient care
- A collaborative approach and enjoy working as part of a supportive team
