The Role
The Student Services Support Officer plays a vital part in delivering a responsive and effective student support service by coordinating a range of administrative functions within the Student Services team. Suitable applicants should manage reception duties, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and identify student needs to ensure timely referrals to appropriate support staff. They maintain student databases and records, and support the operation of systems related to attendance, behaviour, and personal data. A key aspect of the role involves generating reports and correspondence, contributing to strategy development, and supporting the Principal and Student Services team with accurate and timely information.
In addition to core administrative responsibilities, the role includes developing materials and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures. The position requires collaboration across school teams, providing support for events, excursions, and special projects as needed. Ideally, suitable applicants will display commitment to confidentiality, efficiency, and continuous improvement in administrative processes, helping to foster a well-organised and student-focused environment.
