About the Role
As a Qualified Carpenter, you will work across a variety of residential construction and
renovation projects, delivering high-quality workmanship while working safely and
efficiently as part of a professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install and repair timber structures and fixtures.
- Interpret and work from building plans and specifications, including preparing layouts.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
- Build and install wall and roof framing, flooring, doors, windows, decks, pergolas and other structural components, including checking levels, alignment and structural trueness.
- Carry out renovations, extensions and general carpentry work.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable Australian building standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other trades and team members to deliver projects on time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent relevant trade qualification.
- A minimum of two years’ relevant carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods.
- The ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- A current White Card.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A reliable work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
