Disability Support Workers (Female Preferred) | Fraser Rise SIL

GexaCare is expanding its Supported Independent Living (SIL) services and is seeking skilled, dedicated, and compassionate female Youth/Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a consistent, well-supported environment, providing care to an NDIS participant with complex support needs.
We are currently looking for passionate and committed Youth/ Disability Support Workers to join our team in Fraser Rise. Current available lines are Mon-Wed daytime (57 hours per forthnight)

Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Female support workers essential (participant-specific request)
- Experience in youth work and/or disability support within the NDIS framework (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including behaviours of concern
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality, consistent support
- Ability to commit to consistent shift work, ongoing shifts from the point of engagement
- Committed to participant rights, safety, and well-being
Mandatory (or willing to obtain) Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Current driver’s licence
- Manual Handling and Medication Administration training (preferred)
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field (desirable)
