The Mum Club is looking for a warm, energetic and engaging Music Facilitator to lead our weekly baby and toddler music sessions at our studio in Rocklea.
The Mum Club is a dedicated space for mums and little ones, offering classes, activities and social programs designed to help mums get out of the house, meet other mums and enjoy meaningful experiences with their children.
The Role
You’ll facilitate two fun and engaging music sessions each Wednesday (Starting 7th Oct for 10 Weeks):
- 10:30am – Babies (0–12 months)
- 11:45am – Toddlers (1–2.5 years)
Each class will include approximately 25–30 minutes of structured music and movement activities, with the remaining session time allowing families to settle in, socialise and enjoy the space.
We Want Music Mums Enjoy Too!
One of the most important parts of this role is creating a class that's just as engaging for mum as it is for bub.
We're not looking for 30 minutes of nursery rhymes!
We'd love someone who can sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star one minute and seamlessly transition into a 90s or 2000s hit the mums know every word to the next.
Think nursery rhymes, action songs and baby-friendly music mixed with nostalgic throwbacks, pop songs, movement and plenty of opportunities for mums to sing, laugh and join in.
Sessions could include:
- Nursery rhymes and action songs
- 90s, 2000s and current songs adapted for the class
- Singing and movement
- Simple instruments such as shakers, bells and drums
- Scarves, ribbons, bubbles and sensory props
- Dancing and interactive activities
- Songs and activities that encourage interaction between mum and bub
The goal is for little ones to be engaged and stimulated while mums genuinely have fun too.
About You
You might be a music teacher, early childhood educator, children's entertainer, performing arts facilitator or simply someone with relevant experience who is fantastic with young children.
Ideally, you will:
- Be confident singing and leading a room
- Have experience working with babies, toddlers or young children
- Have a fun, outgoing and engaging personality
- Understand how to read a room and keep both adults and little ones involved
- Be creative and able to plan fresh weekly sessions
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- Have appropriate insurance/qualifications where relevant to your engagement
Previous experience facilitating baby or toddler music classes is highly regarded, but we're also open to someone with the right personality and experience who would love to create something a little different.

The Mum Club provides a beautiful dedicated studio space, an existing weekly timetable and a community of local mums and little ones.
There is plenty of opportunity to bring your own personality to the classes and introduce creative themes, songs, instruments and activities each week.
