We are looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who enjoys helping people and wants to make a positive difference in the community. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first friendly face and welcoming voice for patients and visitors, helping create a culturally safe, respectful and supportive environment where community members feel comfortable accessing the care and services they need.
Our Medical Reception team is often described as the heartbeat of the organisation. A fast-paced, high energy environment where no two days are the same, but also a workplace filled with laughter, support, teamwork and genuine care for one another.

About the role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors accessing our services.

Managing appointments and patient bookings
-
Answering phones and assisting patient enquiries

Supporting clinical staff and Administration teams
-
Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry
-
Assisting with patient flow and clinic coordination
-
Providing exceptional customer service to community members
Previous medical reception experience is welcomed but not essential. We are happy to support the right person with training and development.

Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment

Has good computer and administration skills
