Established in 2019, Pro Metal Design is a high end architectural metal company located in Hillsdale (NSW). We manufacture and install high quality custom metal creation to meet unique needs of each clients.
About the role
We are looking for a Metal fabricator with experience in the construction industry, or a junior seeking to build more experience with us. The role include unique/high end projects in brass, copper, stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.
Tasks:
-Execution of all jobs in accordance with job requirements.
-Ability to understand and work from technical drawings.
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and metal cutting machines.
-Ability to use machinery such as milling, lathe, rolling, cutting machine.
-Ability to use welders such as TIG and MIG.
-Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
-Ability to install jobs on site.
-Attention to detail.
-Work closely with project teams to understand and execute project requirements to defence processes. and standards (training provided).
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
-The ability of fast learning.
-Ability of shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.
-Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions.
