Available shifts:
- Weekdays: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
- Weekends: 7:30am – 10:30am
- Sundays: 7:30am – 10:30am + 10:30am – 4:00pm
Abstract Supports is seeking Disability Support Workers to support an adult participant in Freeman’s Reach.
This role involves daily living support including personal care, hoist transfers, household assistance, and community access. We’re looking for calm, reliable workers who follow care plans and provide respectful, person-centred support.
About the Role
Support includes:
- Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
- Transfers using hoist equipment (no manual lifting)
- Household tasks (cleaning, laundry, bed making, kitchen support)
- Supporting outings and appointments
- Working alongside visiting nurses when required
- Observing general wellbeing
- Completing simple shift notes
Requirements
- Disability support experience preferred
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Willing to use hoist equipment (training provided if needed)
- Reliable availability for listed shifts
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
Certificate III or IV in Disability / Individual Support is desirable but not essential.
