At Goodbye Good Boy, we provide compassionate end of life services, supporting veterinary clinics and the families they care for during one of life’s most difficult moments.
Having experienced firsthand how overwhelming pet loss can be, we built a service focused on support, simplicity, and genuine care. Backed by more than 1,000 five-star reviews we are making a real difference and we want like minded people to join us on the journey.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Veterinary Clinic Partnerships Manager to build partnerships with veterinary clinics to utilise Goodbye Good Boy’s pet cremation and aftercare services.
This role is focused on building and growing partnerships with veterinary clinics so they can offer Goodbye Good Boy’s pet cremation and aftercare services to their clients.
This is not a transactional sales role. It is a relationship-led position built on trust, service quality, and understanding the needs of veterinary teams and pet owners.
Based from our Sunshine West facility, you will spend much of your time visiting veterinary clinics, building long-term partnerships, and helping clinics integrate our services into their end-of-life care offering. You will operate with autonomy and be accountable for your results in a performance-driven environment.
Develop and grow partnerships with veterinary clinics to enable the use of Goodbye Good Boy’s pet cremation and aftercare services
Proactively engage new clinics through outreach, clinic visits, networking, and relationship building
Build trusted relationships with veterinarians, practice managers, and clinic owners
Deliver face-to-face meetings and presentations explaining our services and partnership model
Prepare and tailor partnership proposals and onboarding plans for clinics
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clinic partners and their clients
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your pipeline effectively
Represent Goodbye Good Boy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
You are:
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
Confident meeting new people and building trust quickly in professional environments
Strong at relationship building, communication, and follow-through
Organised, accountable, and results-focused
Motivated by meaningful work that supports people during emotionally difficult times
Comfortable balancing independence with collaboration across a team
We’re open-minded about background and experience.
You may already have experience in business development, account management, sales, or relationship management. This role may also suit someone currently working within the veterinary industry who is looking for a change while staying closely connected to the sector.
We strongly encourage applications from Veterinary Nurses, Practice Managers, Clinic Coordinators, and other veterinary professionals who want to move into a clinic partnerships role while continuing to support end-of-life pet care.
You will bring:
A strong work ethic and accountability for your performance
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to identify opportunities and decision makers
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Melbourne
Experience in the veterinary, pet care, or service industries is highly regarded but not essential
Be part of a growing business providing essential end-of-life pet care services
Help veterinary clinics deliver a higher standard of care for their clients
Build meaningful, long-term industry relationships
Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives
Autonomy, flexibility, and real ownership of your work
Make a genuine impact every day for pets and the people who love them
