Pawa and Brothers is seeking an experienced Agitator Truck Driver to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane QLD 4000. As an Agitator Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining agitator trucks used in the construction and ready-mix concrete industry. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete products to our clients across the Brisbane region. You will be the face of Pawa and Brothers on the road, representing our commitment to professionalism, safety, and quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Operate agitator trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the agitator truck, including checking the mixing drum, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and customers regarding delivery times and any issues that arise
- Ensure concrete loads are transported at appropriate speeds and agitation settings to maintain product quality
- Conduct minor maintenance and troubleshooting of the agitator truck as required
- Comply with all relevant safety regulations, including load limits and documented procedures
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle both inside and out
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and report any accidents or damage immediately
Pay: $28.48 – $48.22 per hour
