We are hiring experienced female Support Workers to assist an 11-year-old client with autism who is mostly non-verbal and can display aggressive behaviours. This role includes providing personal care, preparing meals, supporting daily activities, and engaging with the client in a safe, structured, and positive way. Two support workers will always be on shift with this client to ensure safety and consistency.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience supporting individuals with aggressive or challenging behaviours, or be confident and willing to do so
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- A current driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance
- Completion of the following NDIS modules:
- Support Effective Communication
- Safe and Enjoyable Meals
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
