About the Job
Currently Hiring is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Goods Receiver on behalf of a well-established Australian manufacturing business located close to Paramatta.
This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who is confident handling large sheet products and building materials while ensuring accurate goods receipting and inventory management.
The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping materials flowing through the warehouse and production facility safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading and receiving incoming deliveries
- Operating forklifts to move large sheet products and building materials
- Checking incoming stock against delivery dockets and purchase orders
- Accurately receipting goods into inventory systems
- Performing data entry and stock transactions
- Organising and storing materials within the warehouse
- Supplying materials to production teams as required
- Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current LF Forklift Licence
- Proven forklift experience handling large sheet materials such as particleboard, MDF, plywood, laminates, plasterboard or similar products
- Previous experience in goods receiving, warehouse operations or stores environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
