We are looking for a motivated and safety-focused Sales Loader to join our busy quarry team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
As a Sales Loader, you will be responsible for safely loading customer trucks and dog trailers with quarry products, maintaining stockpiles, and ensuring the yard operates efficiently throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load customer trucks and dog trailers with sand and other quarry products.
- Destock and manage sand stockpiles to ensure product availability.
- Operate front-end loaders and other mobile plant in accordance with site procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and report any equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the production and sales teams to keep operations running smoothly.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience operating a front-end loader (quarry experience is highly regarded).
- A current Loader Ticket/Competency (or relevant operating experience).
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills while also being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A proactive attitude with the initiative to identify and complete tasks without being directed.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Pay: $26.82 – $45.57 per hour
