We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician with excellent attention to detail to join our team. A proven track record in clean room assembly work is desirable, but not necessary.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a key role in assembling and testing transport control boxes as well as individual components. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of these systems.
Additionally, you will be involved in a variety of other tasks, including conducting inspections, working within OHS guidelines, ensuring the quality of assembly stock, general warehousing assistance and other various assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
- To assemble control box systems according to detailed design drawings and build procedures
- To test and troubleshoot systems to ensure they meet specified performance standards.
- To assist in diagnosing and repairing defects or malfunctions in components or systems
- To document assembly procedures, as well as all results and repair actions taken.
- To design systems and individual components using CAD software
- To read and interpret design drawings, with the ability to recommend changes as required
- Follow established procedures to ensure that product specifications are met
- To operate material handling equipment as needed to move components and assemblies, whilst following OH&S standards
- To be competent in using the operating system and tools for the tasks required in this role
- To uphold an acceptable standard regarding housekeeping of stock within the warehouse and workshop facility
- Maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
Required:
- Warehouse Experience and Technical hands-on experience with a proven track record
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and repair processes in mechanical manufacturing assembly
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to follow written and verbal directions closely.
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment, as well as maintain focus
- Demonstrates a mechanical aptitude
- Displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn and grow within our business.
- Knowledge of hand tools and their use
Desired:
- Engineering Qualification
- Previous manufacturing experience, including the use of a variety of tools in products and/or repair operations.
- Previous Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting experience.
Remuneration will be based on award rates and negotiations with the successful applicant.
