The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Radiographer (BreastScreen) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide high level of screening mammography and assessment services
Participate in regular technical Quality Assurance activities in line with current level of experience
Maintain a high standard of client care with regard for the client as an individual
Participate in professional development activities through active learning
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Radiography
AHPRA Registration
Current Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by ASMIRT or equivalent, or the ability to attain one within twelve months of commencing employment.
Current Radiation Use Licence issued by Radiation Health Queensland under the Radiation Safety Act (1999).
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Permanent full time or Permanent part time (one full time position or several part time positions, hours negotiable)
Base salary ranging from $79,051 - $116,189 per annum or $39.87 - $58.60 per hour
About Us
BreastScreen Queensland, Gold Coast Service is part of the National Breast Screening Program, providing breast cancer screening services to eligible women within the Gold Coast City Council and BreastScreen catchment area.
The purpose of the program is to reduce mortality and morbidity of breast cancer in women over 40, with the specific target group being women between 50 and 74. The service currently has four static sites and seven sites serviced in rotation by our mobile van. Future expansion to the service is planned.
