We’re seeking a compassionate and driven Occupational Therapist who values a child-centered, family-oriented approach and collaborative teamwork.
About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll work independently while also contributing actively to a multidisciplinary team. Your focus will be on providing evidence-based assessment, planning and therapy support tailored to each child’s developmental, sensory, and cognitive needs. You’ll make a tangible impact on participation, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct developmental and standardised assessments
Develop functional goals in collaboration with families
Provide therapy aligned with family priorities and evidence-based practice
Deliver services within a transdisciplinary team and key worker model
Support inclusion in community and school settings
Monitor progress, review goals, and update therapy plans regularly
Prepare professional reports for families and stakeholders including NDIS
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
Selection Criteria:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA, or eligibility
Experience in early intervention and solution-focused therapy
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Able to work autonomously and within a collaborative team
Valid Driver’s Licence, WWCC/Vulnerable People Check, Police Check
First Aid and CPR accreditation
Strong organisational skills and a client-centered approach
Professional Development & Support:
We offer regular 1:1 supervision, peer review, team meetings, and opportunities to present and participate in internal PD workshops. You’ll be supported to grow your skills while helping children reach theirs.
