We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and energetic Dance Instructors to deliver fun and engaging dance programs in primary schools. No formal teaching qualifications are required. Training, lesson plans, music and ongoing support are provided. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dance, working with children and wants flexible, rewarding work during school hours.
About the Role
As a Dance Instructor, you will run structured dance sessions for primary school students in a positive and supportive environment. Classes focus on confidence, creativity, teamwork and having fun through movement and music.
You will be provided with choreography, class structure, training and resources to confidently deliver each session.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dance classes to groups of primary school students
- Create a fun, inclusive and engaging class environment
- Follow provided lesson plans and program structure
- Manage classroom behaviour positively and professionally
- Communicate professionally with school staff and parents when required
- Set up and pack down music and equipment
- Encourage student participation, confidence and teamwork
No Teaching Experience? No Problem.
We welcome applicants with no formal teaching background. If you enjoy dance and are comfortable working with children, we will provide:

Essential Requirements
- Passion for dance and working with children
- Confidence leading groups
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Reliable transport
- Professional, positive and punctual attitude
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Experience teaching or assisting dance classes
- Experience working with children in any setting
- Background in Hip Hop, Street Dance or Choreography styles
- First Aid Certificate
