About Us
St Benedict's Kindergarten is a standalone 22-place kindergarten located on the grounds of St Benedict's Catholic Primary School, Mango Hill. We operate during school terms (40 weeks per year), giving our team the same school holiday breaks as families.
Our kindy features expansive natural outdoor play areas and thoughtfully designed learning spaces that inspire creativity, curiosity, and exploration. At St Benedict's, every child's individuality is valued, their voices are heard, and their learning journey is celebrated in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging learning and play experiences that support children's wellbeing.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.
- Collaborate within a supportive team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the life of the kindergarten community.
About You
- Warm, caring, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
- Passionate about play-based learning and inclusive education.
- Able to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team.
- Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Hold a current Blue Card and First Aid/CPR including Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain).
- Hold (or are willing to complete) National Safeguarding Training (Geccko).
