Future Tile is a growing Brisbane-based tile business selling online and through our showroom. We supply quality tiles to homeowners, builders and trades across Australia. We’re a small team, so the role is varied and no two days look the same.
The role
We’re after a friendly, capable all-rounder to be a first point of contact for customers and help keep things ticking over behind the scenes. You’ll spend your day talking to people, taking orders over the phone, answering questions and sending out samples, with a mix of light admin, IT and marketing work in between. It suits someone personable and organised who’s comfortable picking up new systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking phone orders and helping customers over the phone and by email
- Answering product questions and guiding people toward the right tiles
- Packing and sending out sample requests
- Following up quotes, orders and enquiries
- General admin, including processing orders, updating records and keeping things organised
- Light IT tasks, like managing product listings, updating website
What we’re looking for
- Warm, confident phone manner and genuinely enjoys talking to people
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers and quick to pick up new tools (we use Shopify)
- Clear written communication for emails and marketing
- Reliable and happy to work independently in a small team
- An interest in interiors, design, tiles or building is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience in customer service, retail, admin or a similar role
- Familiarity with Shopify, email marketing tools, or social media for business
- Basic photo editing or content creation skills
- Knowledge of tiles, building materials or interior design
Pay: $49,900.00 – $79,101.18 per year
