Role
Kaplan Professional is seeking an experienced financial advice professional to step into a leadership role, shaping high-quality education across our Financial Advice programs.
This opportunity is well suited to someone currently working in financial advice compliance, governance, technical services, professional standards, training, capability, or learning and development within financial services.
You will bring strong industry knowledge and translate it into engaging, practical and compliant learning experiences that support adviser education and professional standards. You will lead a team of academics and content specialists, working closely with internal teams and external subject matter experts to ensure our programs remain current, relevant and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Responsbilities
- Lead the development, production and quality assurance of Financial Advice learning content across Kaplan Professional programs.
- Ensure course content meets academic standards, learning outcomes, regulatory requirements and Financial Adviser Standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of course materials to maintain quality, currency, compliance and industry relevance.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of academics, content specialists and contributors.
- Build and manage effective relationships with external subject matter experts and industry stakeholders.
- Review and analyse student performance data to support academic quality, governance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee student engagement activities, including discussion forums and responses to content-related queries.
- Collaborate with instructional design, multimedia, sales, operations and academic teams to deliver high-quality digital learning experiences.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Financial Planning, Financial Advice or a related discipline.
- At least five years’ experience in financial advice, financial planning or a related financial services field.
- Strong understanding of financial advice regulation, professional standards and industry expectations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, developing or managing a team.
- Experience in learning design, content development, training, capability or education delivery.
- Ability to translate complex technical or regulatory concepts into clear, engaging and practical learning content.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, writing and research skills.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
