An opportunity has become available for a practitioner (3-8 PQE) to join our Sydney Planning & Environment team working alongside Anthony Whealy.
About Us

In that time, we’ve grown into a Top 6 Australian law firm by size while remaining true to our shared vision of exceptional client service with a friendly and collaborative ethos. Mutual trust and respect are at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Associate or Senior Associate (3-8 years' PQE) to join our Planning and Environment team in Sydney. You will work closely with a leading Partner, Anthony Whealy, and his team of solicitors on a wide range of planning and environment law matters, including Class 1 merit appeals, Class 4 civil enforcement matters, and Class 5 criminal proceedings. The team also specialises in land valuation (land tax) appeals and other Class 3 proceedings. You will have an opportunity to thrive in this very busy and enthusiastic team. You will principally be working for development proponents. The role involves a healthy mix of advice and litigation work.
Anthony Whealy has (for an unprecedented 10th consecutive year) been ranked this year by Doyle’s as one of only three partners in NSW in the ‘Preeminent category’. In addition, the Sydney Planning and Environment team have again been ranked by Doyle’s as ‘First Tier’ for NSW Planning and Environment law firms.
