We are searching for a casual educators (CertIII & Diploma) to work at our family owned centre at Turramurra on Sydney's upper north shore. The centre was purposebuilt 6 years ago so we benefit from lovely large rooms and natural outdoor environment with quality resources.
We have a few educators with leave in the coming months and would like to use some regular casuals. We will consider educators enrolled in CertIII or Diploma. Shifts will predominately be 8 hours however we may have some 4/6 hour shifts (lunch /programming cover)
We are a 0-5 centre with three rooms - Babies, Toddlers & Preschool. The babies have their own seperate outdoor play area whilst the toddlers and preschool share a large yard.
Casuals need to be able to work across all 3 rooms however will be predominately in either the Toddler or Preschool rooms.
We are seeking educators who will actively engage in play with the children at their level whilst maintain active supervision, will show initative and ask if not sure what to do. Street parking is available outside the centre and if catching public transport the bus stop is 50m from centre.

Requirements
- Hold an ACECQA recognised qualification (or be working towards) - Certificate III, Diploma or ECT (ESSENTIAL)
- Be passionate about working with children and their families
- Be committed to providing high quality care
- Have good communication skills
- Have a current paid working with children check (ESSENTIAL)
- Be an Australian Resident or hold a working visa (ESSENTIAL).
- Have completed the Gekko National Child Safety Training (ESSENTIAL).
Pay: $36.00 – $45.71 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 16.0 per week
