Preschool Room Leader – Penrith, Sydney NSW
QuickCare is seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Room Leader to join a warm, welcoming, 40-place boutique early learning service located in Penrith, Sydney NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated educator who is passionate about leading a preschool room, delivering a high-quality school readiness program, and making a meaningful impact within a close-knit learning community. Working in a smaller service allows for stronger relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a truly rewarding environment.
About the Role
As the Preschool Room Leader, you will lead the preschool program and work collaboratively with educators to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. You will play a key role in supporting children's development and preparing them for a successful transition to school.
In our boutique 40-place service, you will have the opportunity to provide individualised learning experiences, build genuine connections with families, and contribute to a strong culture of collaboration and quality practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the preschool room and daily routines
- Plan and implement engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Deliver a high-quality school readiness program
- Mentor and support educators within the room
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Standards and service policies
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current NESA accreditation (for ECT applicants) or willingness to obtain if required
- Previous experience as a Preschool Room Leader, Lead Educator, or Early Childhood Teacher
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
