Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
Rutledge Family Medical Centre is growing, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
We’re a busy, community-focused general practice with a strong emphasis on childhood immunisations, chronic disease management and family healthcare. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, with our nurses involved in everything from vaccinations and care planning to health assessments and minor procedures.
About the Role
- Monday-to-Friday position with flexibility available
- Open to full-time applicants or part-time nurses interested in sharing the role
- Work alongside a small, dedicated nursing team, our GPs and administrative staff
- Duties will be tailored to the successful applicant’s qualifications, experience and scope of practice
Key Areas
- Supporting our childhood immunisation program
- Chronic disease management and care planning
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Health assessments and screenings
- Wound care and general treatment-room duties
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting high-quality patient care
Essential
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in general practice
- Current National Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check
- Current CPR certification
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia—visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Desirable but Not Essential
- Nurse immuniser qualification, where applicable
- Experience with childhood immunisations
- Chronic disease management and care-planning experience
- Familiarity with Best Practice, PenCS and Topbar
- Understanding of MBS billing and Medicare item numbers
