As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the development and implementation of marketing strategies across our ecommerce operations.
About the Role
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for researching market opportunities, developing and implementing marketing initiatives, analysing customer and market trends, and supporting the promotion and positioning of New Aim's products, brands and ecommerce offerings.
Working closely with internal Category, Channel, Brand & Content and other relevant teams, the successful candidate will use market insights and performance data to develop effective marketing initiatives and improve customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, market opportunities, competitor activities and changes in the ecommerce and retail environment.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to support New Aim's products, brands and ecommerce channels.
- Analyse customer behaviour, sales performance, market data and campaign results to identify opportunities and provide actionable marketing recommendations.
- Plan and coordinate digital marketing activities across relevant online channels, including website content, search, social media, email and marketplace platforms.
- Develop marketing plans and promotional initiatives to improve product visibility, customer engagement, brand awareness and market positioning.
- Monitor competitor marketing activities, product positioning, pricing and promotional strategies and prepare market intelligence and recommendations.
- Work with Category and Channel teams to identify target markets, customer segments and appropriate promotional strategies for different products and channels.
- Coordinate the development of marketing and promotional materials, including digital content, product communications and campaign assets.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using relevant performance indicators and prepare regular reports and recommendations for management.
- Support brand positioning and ensure marketing communications are consistent with New Aim's brand strategy and commercial objectives.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to coordinate the delivery of marketing projects and campaigns.
- Maintain awareness of emerging ecommerce, digital marketing and consumer trends and recommend new marketing opportunities and initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in marketing, preferably within ecommerce, retail, digital marketing or a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Ability to interpret market and performance data and translate insights into practical marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple marketing projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and commercially focused approach with strong attention to detail.
